Success in multiple promotions highlights Willow Nightingale’s ability to shine on big stages. After
developing her craft on the independent circuit, she captured the NYWC Fusion Championship in
February 2022, a four‑way match victory that underscored her versatility . Her breakout year came in
2023, when she entered New Japan Pro‑Wrestling’s tournament to crown the inaugural Strong Women’s
Champion. At the Resurgence event she defeated Momo Kohgo in the semi‑finals and then beat megastar
Mercedes Moné in the final to win the title . She successfully defended the belt on AEW Rampage, the
first time the title was defended outside Japan, before dropping it to Giulia in July .
Nightingale continued her hot streak in AEW’s Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. Victories
over Nyla Rose and Athena propelled her to the finals, where she defeated Ruby Soho to win the 2023 tournament . Her tournament win demonstrated her adaptability in single‑elimination settings and
further cemented her as a rising star.
Championship gold soon followed. On 21 April 2024 at AEW’s Dynasty pay‑per‑view, Nightingale pinned
Julia Hart to claim the AEW TBS Championship . She defended the title against Skye Blue but lost it to
Mercedes Moné at Double or Nothing five weeks later, ending her 35‑day reign . Nevertheless, the
victory made her only the third woman to hold the belt. Later in 2024 she teamed with Harley Cameron as
the Babes of Wrath to win the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship . Outside AEW
she also won Mexico’s CMLL World Women’s Championship and previously held NJPW’s Strong Women’s
Championship and various NYWC titles . These accolades showcase her versatility and underscore
her status as a trailblazer across the global wrestling landscape
